Pyridoxine hydrochloride CAS NO:58-56-0

Facilitates Body Metabolism

As an indispensable coenzyme factor, vitamin B6 participates in amino acid transformation pathways and the synthesis of nerve signaling substances, which maintains the smooth running of overall human metabolism.

Alleviates Deficiency-Related Ailments

It helps guard against pellagra and eases discomforts including morning sickness during pregnancy, vomiting triggered by radiotherapy, and adverse reactions caused by drug toxicity.

Maintains Normal Neural Function

This nutrient plays a vital role in stabilizing nervous system performance and relieving nerve-related symptoms brought on by insufficient nutrient intake.

Good Stability & Wide Applicability

The vitamin remains stable at regular room temperature. It dissolves well in water and ethanol alike, making it suitable for manufacturing multiple types of pharmaceutical preparations.

Product Details
Vitamin B6, alternatively named pyridoxine, is also recognized as an anti-pellagra nutrient. Its systematic chemical name is 2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4,5-bis(hydroxymethyl)pyridine, and its most widely adopted pharmaceutical raw material is pyridoxine hydrochloride, which serves as the mainstream form applied in diverse drug preparations.

This hydrochloride derivative exists as crystalline powder ranging from white to pale yellow, and thermal decomposition occurs within the temperature range of 204–206°C. It dissolves readily in water, ethanol and acetone, yet barely dissolves in ether. The compound carries an acidic, bitter flavor. Though stable under regular ambient surroundings, it will slowly degrade upon light exposure and possesses sublimation properties.

Pyridoxine hydrochloride CAS NO:58-56-0

A distinct reddish-brown tint will form after mixing the product with ferric chloride test solution. This nutrient can be naturally extracted from rice bran, various vegetables, yeast, molasses and fatty raw materials. For industrial chemical synthesis, methyl methoxyacetate, acetone and ethyl cyanoacetate are adopted as starting materials.

Clinically, it can prevent and relieve morning sickness in pregnancy, vomiting induced by radiation therapy, toxic side effects from isoniazid, as well as stomach discomfort caused by anti-tumor drugs. Besides, it can be used as auxiliary treatment for pellagra and other certain nutrient deficiency disorders.
