Polyvinyl Chloride Resin (PVC) CAS#9002-86-2
Good Compatibility & Processability: PVC resin has excellent compatibility with plasticizers, stabilizers and other additives. It can be processed into soft and rigid products via extrusion, injection molding, calendering and paste coating.
Stable Performance: It shows outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis and salt solutions. It has good flame retardancy and electrical insulation, but it will degrade and release harmful gas under excessive heat.
Versatile Uses: Widely used for PVC pipes and fittings, plastic profiles, films, artificial leather, cable sheaths, flooring, foam products and anti-corrosion linings.
Powder Form & Non-Hygroscopic Nature: This material is supplied as white fine powder. It is non-hygroscopic and should be stored away from high temperature and strong sunlight.
Polyvinyl Chloride Resin, characterized by the molecular formula (C₂H₃Cl)ₙ, presents as white thermoplastic powder. It is divided into rigid and flexible types according to plasticizer dosage. It is insoluble in water, soluble in tetrahydrofuran and cyclohexanone. It is one of the most widely used general-purpose polymer materials.

PVC resin is a classic chlorine-containing polymer raw material. Rigid PVC is used for water supply and drainage pipes, window profiles and hard sheets; flexible PVC is applied in cable insulation, soft films, artificial leather and sealing strips. Paste PVC is used for dipping, coating and vinyl flooring.
