Polycarbonate(PC)CAS:25037-45-0
Excellent Processability: Polycarbonate (PC) possesses favorable melt flow characteristics, adaptable to injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and hot pressing forming. Different tailored grades enable it to be fabricated into transparent sheets, electrical enclosures, automotive lamp housings and optical components.
Stable Performance: PC delivers remarkable impact strength and stable dimensional performance. It bears decent heat resistance and insulating properties. It is vulnerable to strong oxidizing substances and some organic solvents such as ketones, which may trigger stress cracking.
Versatile Uses: Commonly adopted for transparent daylighting panels, safety protective covers, automotive lighting parts, electronic casings, optical lenses and medical plastic accessories.
Pellet Form & Non-Hygroscopic Nature: This product is provided as transparent resin pellets. It hardly absorbs moisture and should be kept inside a dry and ventilated warehouse.
Polycarbonate, characterized by the molecular formula (C₁₆H₁₄O₃)ₙ, presents as transparent thermoplastic pellets. It has exceptional impact resistance and low deformation tendency. It includes general, flame-retardant, glass-filled and anti-UV grades. It is insoluble in water, and prone to stress cracking when exposed to ketones and similar organic solvents.
