ALLURA RED AC

Excellent Solubility: Demonstrates high solubility in water, glycerin, and propylene glycol, ensuring easy integration into a wide range of liquid and semi-solid formulations.

Superior Light and Heat Resistance: Possesses strong stability under exposure to light and elevated temperatures, effectively preserving its color integrity in diverse application environments.

pH-Dependent Color Performance: Exhibits outstanding color fastness, displaying a clear red hue in neutral to acidic conditions and a deep red tone in alkaline solutions.

Biofunctional Utility: Employed in antifungal preparations and therapeutic interventions for conditions such as rhinitis and metabolic bone disorders.

Product Details

Allura Red AC presents as a deep red, homogeneous powder free of odor. It is readily soluble in water, glycerin, and propylene glycol, shows minimal solubility in ethanol, and is insoluble in oils and fats. Its aqueous solution forms a transparent solution with a red hue and subtle yellow undertones. The colorant exhibits robust stability against light and heat exposure but is susceptible to degradation under alkaline conditions and redox reactions, consistent with characteristics of azo-based red pigments.
