Product Details

Triclosan properties: Triclosan presents as a white crystalline powder with a subtle floral or phenolic scent. It is sparingly soluble in water, moderately soluble in dilute alkaline solutions, and readily dissolves in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone. Additionally, it can be incorporated into surfactant systems to form clear, stable concentrates. Triclosan demonstrates high storage stability and thermal resistance, decomposing slowly at temperatures up to 280–290°C. After 14 hours of heating at 200℃, only about 2% decomposition occurs. It also exhibits strong resistance to UV degradation, and its solutions maintain stability under both acidic and alkaline conditions. The compound displays very low volatility and retains a mild floral odor over time.
