Trisodium Phosphate CAS:7601-54-9
High Purity Crystalline Structure: This high-grade product consists of neatly arranged hexagonal crystalline particles. Under standard storage environments, the crystals present a white or clear transparent appearance.
Aqueous Solubility: It exhibits good dissolution performance in water. At 20°C, the solubility reaches approximately 28 g per 100 mL of water.
Marked Alkalinity :A 0.1 mol/L water solution of this substance delivers strong alkaline characteristics, with the pH reading stabilizing near 11.5.
Heat Resistance and Hydration Stability :Extended heating will hardly trigger decomposition of its crystal lattice or loss of crystal water. The compound maintains excellent stability of its hydrate structure.
This dodecahydrate chemical exists as white or translucent hexagonal crystals, with a density of 1.62 g/cm³. Rapid heating brings about melting at around 75°C. Crystal water begins to volatilize once the temperature rises to 100°C, while the final fraction of coordinated water remains tightly bound and will not be removed even under continuous heat treatment.
The substance has high water solubility: 28 g can be completely dissolved in 100 mL of water at 20°C. A 0.1 mol/L aqueous solution shows pronounced alkaline behavior at pH 11.5. Besides, it is practically insoluble in alcoholic solvents.
